We currently produce tens of millions of labels and forms per year for use in many different NHS Trust hospitals and departments. We are able to supply all types of print from plain labels to barcode labels produced in our own modern in-house label bureau which is equipped with the latest Zebra technology. We are experts in supplying NHS Hospitals with all types of blood-test related labels; we can supply all types of forms from continuous through to pressure seal forms suitable for appointment letters and other
applications, as well as forms with specimen bags attached.
Pickitpackit offer a comprehensive in-house variable printing bureau service to many NHS hospitals and trusts, utilizing the latest barcode label printing technology. Our bar-coded labels are produced to the highest quality and specification to meet your individual requirements. Pickitpackit are a leading provider of
barcode labels for pathology laboratory use; our labels are produced to match the specific customer needs with different adhesives available to suit many varying applications. One
example of this is labels that have an excellent adhesion to curved plastic tubes and that have a requirement to be stored in a cold environment. Codes utilised can be codabar, Code 39, 2 of 5, Code 128, Modulus 23 or any general accepted
symbology. Our barcoded labels can be produced sequentially in any number sequence with any number of labels per set. The barcode printing technology we have invested in ensures Pickitpackit are competitive from small runs of barcode labels to larger runs into the millions. Blood Tracking Forms
Many hospitals now have to have a blood tracking system in place to use when blood is issued. The innovative forms that Pickitpackit have developed in conjunction with a leading East
Anglian hospital allows for the form to be attached to a blood bag when it is refrigerated and moved to and from the blood store. Integrated labels are built-in to this form, which can subsequently be removed and attached to patient notes to ensure traceability throughout.
Pickitpackit can supply plain labels bespoke to your individual
requirements, our labels are available in a variety of different styles, from laser sheets to rolls, single or fan-folded formats.
Labels can be supplied on paper or synthetic grade materials
depending on the “life” requirements of the label. From
pharmacies to pharmaceutical manufacturers and haematology to nuclear medicine departments, Pickitpackit can offer competitive
pricing across a wide range of label products to meet your
requirements. Our labels are compatible with all thermal printers such as Zebra Technologies, Intermec, Toshiba TEC, Datamax,
Citizen and many others. Pickitpackit are Zebra Associate Partners and can also supply printers and consumables for use with the above products.
We can supply A&E forms in continuous or cut set format which are folded and glued to form pouches that can be used to hold patient notes and x-rays. Pickitpackit can add built-in labels to your forms to use for blood tests and sample labelling. Barcodes may also be printed on to the labels to further aid sample
Patient ID Cards
As leading suppliers of integrated card forms we have developed a product for patients to carry with them in their personal wallet to help identify them as users of particular types of medication. Our A4 integrated card forms are laser compatible and contain a built-in peel out or push out card which can be laser personalised with each patients individual details on. The integrated card forms can be supplied pre-printed with full colour to the face or reverse with clear instructions or handy reminders for the patient.
Available on materials up to 300gsm and with laminate on the face and reverse our laser personalised patient ID cards are also extremely durable and offer a cost effective alternative to
traditional plastic cards.

Yellow Book System
Pickitpackit have developed a unique system to replace the ‘Yellow Book’ report system used in many Pathology labs to update patients with their latest Warfarin results. The system speeds up the communication of test results to patients. This method completely
replaces the ‘Yellow Book System’. It avoids incorrect details being placed in the Yellow Books, and cuts out postage losses and time taken for updating of the books. In primary care, anticoagulants are one of the classes of medicines most commonly associated with fatal medication errors. In 2002 a Coroner and the Chief Medical Officer highlighted the death of a patient from a Warfarin overdose caused by misinterpretation of a doctor’s handwriting.
